The inaugural production of Constellation Theatre Co. celebrates the quality of musical theatre talent in North Bay and area.
NORTH BAY, ON — After a year of planning and months of rehearsal, North Bay’s newest musical theatre co-operative is ready to raise the curtain on its inaugural production. Constellation Theatre Co. presents You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown from June 19–27 at École secondaire publique Odyssée, bringing together a cast of skilled local performers and a creative team recognized throughout the North Bay theatre community.

“Constellation Theatre has the energy of young professionals pushing themselves and supporting each other, resulting in powerful dynamics on stage,” said Music Director Chris Mogan. “Come see the best of North Bay’s talent in Charlie Brown.”
Audiences can expect memorable songs, familiar characters, and plenty of heart. The musical follows Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Sally, Schroeder, Violet, and Snoopy through a series of heartwarming, funny, and relatable moments celebrating friendship, imagination, perseverance, and the ups and downs of everyday life. Constellation’s production is the revised version, featuring an updated score and additional songs.
The production design features colourful, oversized props, costumes, and set pieces that make the adult performers seem child-sized, as if the beloved Charles Schulz comic strip has come to life on stage. It is co-directed by Allan MacAskill and Shane Southcott, who also designed the set. Music direction is by Chris Mogan and choreography by Emma Jackett-Webster. Props were designed by Jenn Bolton and Allan MacAskill, while Bolton and Nika Rohachevska serve as stage managers. Costumes are designed by Barb Hartwick, with set painting by Kaitlyn Stewart.
The cast features Tim Lucier as Charlie Brown, Kaylee Garcia as Lucy, Bryce Millard as Linus, Emma Jackett-Webster as Sally, Keegan MacNeil-Kettle as Schroeder, Ava Fuller as Violet, and James DeVuono as Snoopy. The cast recently completed an immersive rehearsal retreat, allowing performers and creative team to dedicate an entire weekend to refining the production before opening night.

What Constellation has started providing has not only opened doors for people like myself seeking growth as a musical theatre performer, but also for people who have aged out of current programs designed for youth and still want opportunities to perform and find community in a mature environment,” said cast member Keegan MacNeil-Kettle, who plays Schroeder.
Founded in 2025, Constellation Theatre Co. was created to address a gap in opportunities for adult musical theatre performers. Structured as a co-operative, the organization reinvests the majority of ticket revenue into future productions while ensuring participating artists and creative team members share directly in the success of each show.
Community support has played an important role in bringing the production to the stage, with organizations and businesses including the Capitol Centre, C. John D’Agostino, BDO, and Zac’s Natural Foods stepping forward as sponsors.
In addition to its evening performances, Constellation Theatre Co. is offering a relaxed family matinee on June 21. This performance is designed for audience members who may benefit from a more flexible theatre environment, where movement, vocalization, and taking breaks are welcomed.
